At Martins Art, we believe in the power of visual communication. Based in Lutton, Spalding Lincolnshire in England, our art studio specialises in creating compelling artwork that resonate with audiences.
Martin qualified as a Graphic Fine Artist and has always had a passion for animals.
Having owned horses and dogs, whereby he enjoyed competing with them in Show jumping and currently with his dogs in Agility Competitions, he has also assisted previous partners in the running of their veterinary practice, so he has lots of knowledge of his subjects.
Previously, Martin's main media for working was watercolour and soft pastels, but since returning after a 20 year break he chose to try a totally new media to him and that was coloured pencils.
Today he specialises in graphite and coloured pencil art, but there is a temptation to reach for the water colour palette again.
All original art work on this site is for sale and comes framed in a light grey A3 sized frame.

Eye-catching artwork produced using graphite and coloured pencil media from clients own detailed photographs.
If you don't have a strong photo, it is not the end of the world and we appreciate in some cases it is not possible to get hold of one, don't despair, simply speak with us and send us a copy of your photo, it may mean we are able to work from it with a little bit of artistic licence applied, but we need to let you know it may take that little bit longer to produce your artwork to a good quality but that will not increase the cost at all.
I require a high resolution photo (or selection of photos) and a 50% deposit to secure your slot in my schedule. I would need to see and approve your photo material first to ensure I can work from them.
